Early 19th century Venetian carved wood, polychromed and gilded blackamoor drink table. The blackamoor is decorated with flowers, scrolls, and assortments of foliage. The shaped tray top with gadrooned edge and colorful decoration, held aloft by a turbaned Nubian boy dressed in colorful heraldic garb and holding a bunch of grapes, terminating in scrolled, rocaille and leaf clasped, outswept legs. It is a very beautiful piece and a wonderful example of Venetian art.
